Selelah mecoba blackberry connect di p1i, jadi tertarik untuk mencoba handset blackberry, masalah nya handset blackberry banyaksekali macam nya mulai dari harga Rp 600.000 an sampai Rp 8.000.000an jadi bingung, mau pakai tipe yang mana.

Selama ini belum pernah pakai handset blackberry jadi agak gaptek nih soal handset ini, setelah cari cari info mulai spec, model dan harga. akir nya saya memutuskan melirik type 8310, bener nya sih juga belum “ngeh” bener soal tipe ini, ya berhubung model nya lumacan cantik dan harga nya masih bisa di jangkau kantong ya udah coba ini model, jadwal nya besuk senin barang nya sampai ke tangan saya. jadi saat ini belum bisa kasih comment apa apa, still waiting

Sudah 2 hari ini saya menggunakan Blackberry 8310 dengan kartu AS (Telkomsel) waktu pertama pakai wah bingung neh menu menu nya, tapi soal setting email dan gprs langsung otomatis semua, saya bisa langsung online ym dan cek email setelah saya masukkan kartu as saya

Soal Management email memang terasa bedanya saat saya menggunakan Blackberry connect P1i dan Handset Blackberry beneran, semua attachment bisa di download dan di buka, cuma memang kecepatan untuk browsing Blackberry 8310 masih menggunakan EDGE untuk kecepatan maksimal nya, jika pakai Sony Ericsson P1i kecepatan data nya maximal 3G/UTMS.

Problem nya saat ini Blackberry 8310 saya OS nya masih 4.2 dan kalo mau menginstall program office harus 4.5 , apa ada di antara teman2x yg tau step by step upgrade OS Blackberry? atau ada program office yg bisa berjalan di OS Blackberry 4.2? mohon info nya

Instructions for installing on ANY carrier’s 8310:

1. Download the above OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named “vendor.xml.”
3. Plug in BB and double click on “Loader.exe.” It’s located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it’s done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with an hourglass for up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says “waiting for initialization.”
If, for some reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to the PC again and run Loader.exe again and it should load the OS to the device.
